Peachtree Premium Accounting 2006 System Requirements

  • Registration and acceptance of the license agreement for Peachtree is required.
  • Microsoft® Windows® 98 SE, Me, 2000 SP3, or XP SP2
  • Pentium® II (or equivalent), 300 MHz minimum 450 MHz or higher recommended
  • 128 MB RAM minimum, 256 MB or higher recommended1
  • Display settings of at least High Color (16 bit) SVGA Video; 800x600 resolution with small fonts
  • CD-ROM Drive
  • Mouse or compatible pointing device
  • 110 MB available hard disk space (Peachtree First Accounting)
  • 250 MB available hard disk space
  • Additional 55 MB available hard disk space is required to install the Guided Tour
  • In-product demos require Macromedia® Flash® Player
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 required (6.0 SP1 provided on CD. Requires an additional 70 MB (or higher) available hard disk space to install)
  • Online Services require Internet access. Minimum connection speed depends on service.
  • Printers supported by Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP
  • Microsoft Word integration requires Word 2000,2002 or 2003 and Excel 2000, 2002, or 2003
  • Microsoft Excel integration requires Excel 2000, 2002 or 2003. Refer to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for hardware and memory system requirements.

Multi-User Requirements

Microsoft 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Small Business Sever 2003 networks and Windows 98/2000/XP or Novell® NetWare® Network 5.1, 6.0 or 6.5. No more than 5 users.

To install Crystal Reports for Peachtree:

  • Peachtree Premium Accounting 2006 or higher must be installed
  • Additional 235 MB of available disk space is required to install
  • Microsoft Windows Home Edition not supported

1 Terminal Server requires additional memory when more than one user is running under Windows Terminal Services. An additional 21 MB RAM is recommended for each additional user.
